OUR JOURNEY

The FacePrintPay idea originated in 2015 while working at PlayMyAd Inc when Mitchell & Justin Phan started testing facial recognition technology in our Irvine Ca office. The concept then continued to remain dormant until 2017, when it was mapped out on a bedroom wall by our Founder & CEO Cygel White and his roommate at the time Dan Boyer.
The Idea again would remained just that until 2020, when Mr.White meet his Co-Founder and CTO Martin Acheampong after posting a joint development offer on Facebook. Cygel & Martin finally started working on the technology with open source code to begin creating FacePrintPayTM, with the goal of creating a high-end solution to consumers & retailers in to provide a bio-metric payment options using multi-factored or omni-factored the mission of FacePrintPay is to provide a simple and secure digital payment system.

OUR MISSION

STARTS WITH RETAIL!

AS WE CONTINUE TO EXPAND THE RANGE OF OPTIONS IN THE POINT OF SALE ECOSYSTEM

We aim to be the NEX- GENERATION of IN-STORE & IN-VENUE BIO-PAY-PAYMENT PROCESSING GATEWAY that integrates LivePerson-Registration Verification, We allow usersTRANSACTION PREFERENCES, IN-SYSTEM BACKEND LOYALTY REWARDS, AUTOMATIC IN-STORE COUPONS, & DIGITAL OUT OF HOME Marketing, We added extra security methods for our BIO - PAYMENTS & PROCESSING communities and clients in the hopes of assuring that Commercial enterprises, Consumers, and Lending Institutions can have a better peace of mind knowing that our system is 99.9% hacker and identity theft proof, making implementation of our next-generation technology easier and much more readily acceptable.

  TECHNOLOGY PARTNERSHIPS ESTABLISHED

The idea of facial recognition technology firstly appeared In 2014, when Facebook announced its DeepFace. Just for the record, this program was able to determine whether two photographed faces belong to the same person with an accuracy rate of 97.25%. Then, a year later, in 2015, Google went one better with FaceNet which achieved a new record — 99.63%.Now, in 2021, most facial recognition algorithms exceed the most accurate algorithm from late 2013. That’s why you can easily use it without a super powerful team of engineers, all you need is just appropriate tools.FRT has three stages:

  • Detection — the process of finding a face in an image. This can be done by training an algorithm, usually a deep neural network, on a vast number of photos that have faces in known positions. Thanks to Flickr, Instagram, or Facebook, we have ready massive sets of images that are used to train deep neural networks.

  • Analysis ( attribution) is the step that maps faces often by measuring the distance between nodal points which includes the relationship between the eyes, nose, eyebrows, and the rest of the facial features. These measurements are then transcribed into a single-coded model, which can then be compared and potentially combined with known photographs within a database.

  • Recognition is the attempt to confirm the identity of a person in a photo.
